My Christmas Eve was full of family, games, and of course good food. We started out with appetizers including:
brie and cranberry cheddar cheeses,
delicious homemade pate that my brother Nick made,
and of course, Christmas cookies! I always look forward to Nick’s pate because it’s creamy and tasty and he only makes it once a year.
We’re traditional (or stuck in a rut, but it’s a good rut), every year for Christmas Eve dinner we have the same thing, Cashew Shrimp, fruit salad, and Champagne!
The shrimp was gingery and cooked perfectly. The sweetness from the peas and the crunch from the cashew’s really pulls the dish together. Yum!
